Medex system will generate a variety of notifications for assistance of patients on the basis of their medical condition (disease), age group (senior citizens), goals set (e.g. weight management) registered treatment program/plan, location (holidays destinations, travels etc). Such groups/ categorizations help in reaching out to them in quick time and with focused needs, for example, a free medical camp announced for Eye Patients in a town, a new clinic service announced for senior citizens, a new blog or article posted for Diabetic Patients, a seminar organized for prevention of Hepatitis etc. Doctors are also notified based on their specific needs. Patients are notified, for example, for confirmation of appointment, e-prescription through SMS, email and web portal, 24 hours in advance reminder and 30 minutes in advance reminder prior to starting of the video session etc.
